How do I select a store location closest to me?
- In the top navigation by the Cart and French language buttons, there is an icon that says “My Store”. Hover over the icon to expand and click “Select Store” to search
- In the footer, select the Store Locator link to begin your search. You may search either by entering a postal code or by selecting a province and city, and then clicking the “Find Stores” button. Once the list of store locations has been returned, you can select a store as a destination for pickup by selecting “Make This My Store.” You may change your store location at any point before checkout.
How do I search tires and/or wheels by brand name?
To search for tires and/or wheels by a specific brand, choose one of the following options:
- Hover over the “Tires” or “Wheels” heading in the main navigation bar at the top of the page. The fly-out menu will allow you to select the desired brand you wish to search for.
- Select the "Tires" or "Wheels" heading in the main navigation bar at the top of the page and you will be re-directed to the corresponding landing page. From there, you can select the desired brand you wish to search for from the navigation tool on the left side of the page, or scroll down and select the image of the brand logo you wish to search for.
Unless you have first conducted a Search by Vehicle, the brands shown will not be filtered to show only the products appropriate for your vehicle.
How do I search for tires using the Search by Vehicle tool?
You can begin your tire search by vehicle from the Home page, Tires page, or Tire & Wheel Packages page. On the "Search by Vehicle" tab, you can select your vehicle’s year, make, model, body and option from the dropdown menus, or select a previously saved vehicle. Then select "Continue." A second pop-up window will appear asking you to select your desired size. You can choose to search for the Original Equipment (OE) size or plus/minus tire sizes. Select "Find Tires" to be taken to a search results page. These results can be filtered according to price, brand, sub-category, load range, mileage rating, speed rating, and load index. All sizes are shown in inches.
How do I search for wheels using the Search by Vehicle tool?
You can search for wheels by vehicle from either the Wheels page or Tire & Wheel Packages page. From the dropdown menus, select your vehicle’s year, make, model, body, and option information or select a previously saved vehicle. A second pop-up window will appear asking you to select your size. You can choose to search for the Original Equipment (OE) size or plus/minus tires sizes then select “Find Wheels.” The results can be filtered according to price, brand, sub-category, colour, and finish. Your vehicle information will be saved if you navigate away from the wheels listing page.
How do I search for tires using the Search by Size tool?
To search by tire size, begin on the Home page, Tires page, or Tire & Wheel Packages page and select the “Search by Size” tab. On this tab, you will be able to choose your tire’s section width, diameter, load index, aspect ratio, and speed rating from the dropdown menus. Then select “Find Tires.” A list of tires that match those requirements will appear in the search results. These results can be filtered according to category, brand, price, speed rating, load index and/or load range. Your vehicle information will be saved if you navigate away from the tires listing page. This search option is not available for wheels.
Returns, Exchanges, and Warranties
What happens if I choose the wrong tires and/or wheels for my vehicle?
Tires and wheels can be returned in store according to regular exchange/return policies and procedures.

When do restocking fees apply?
Restocking fees may apply to the return of a product that is not defective.
Shipping and Handling
What taxes are added to my subtotal?
The prescribed provincial, territorial, or federal taxes applicable to the store from which you will be picking up your products are added to your purchase. In the case of tires, environmental fees, as set out by the province, will also be applied (though these are not considered a tax in some jurisdictions).
Can I ship tires and/or to a location other than a Canadian Tire Store or outside of Canada?
No, at this time all products purchased through this website must be picked up at a Canadian Tire retail location and cannot be shipped to any other location either within or outside of Canada.
How are my tires and/or wheels being shipped to my selected pick-up location?
All products are transported to the store selected through the Canadian Tire distribution network via ground transportation.
Will the use of a courier ever be necessary, and will I be charged extra for that?
The use of couriers is not standard practice for shipment of your items. However, in cases where transportation by courier is required, there will be no additional charge to the customer for this service.
Rebates
How do I redeem my rebate?
Each rebate may be redeemed differently according to the rules and regulations outlined by the manufacturer. Any product that is eligible for a mail-in rebate will be identified on both the search result and product description pages. The rebate link will provide a form which must be printed, filled out, and mailed to the manufacturer. Details of each rebate will often be outlined on those forms.
When do I get reimbursed by my rebate?
The typical time frame is 6-8 weeks, but may vary according to the manufacturer and promotion
How do I know if my tires and/or wheels are eligible for a rebate?
Any tires that are eligible for a rebate will be identified on both the search results and product description pages. The details of the specific rebate, along with a link to the application form, will be provided. In order to apply for the rebate, this form must be printed, filled out, and mailed to the corresponding manufacturer.

No, appointments cannot be made online but you may call the store in advance to make arrangements. Please click here to search for your store’s contact details.
Online Shopping
How do I make sure Canadian Tire received my order?
Canadian Tire will send you a confirmation email letting you know that we have received your order. A follow up email is sent once your order has been delivered and is ready for pickup. If you want to inquire about your order, you can view your order status by selecting ‘Order Status’ located in the Customer Service section. Click here to view your order status.
How do I add items to my cart?
To add items to your cart, you will first have to select a store to be designated as your order pick-up location, and then conduct a tire or wheel search by entering your vehicle or tire size information. An “Add to Cart” button will be found on each item returned in your search results, as well as on each product details page. Simply select the product that’s right for you and then click “Add to Cart.” It is recommended to conduct your search using your vehicle information prior to adding any items to your cart. This will help ensure you have selected the right size for your vehicle.
Does Canadian Tire honour the sale price in store after my tires and/or wheels have been purchased online at full price?
Canadian Tire will honor the sale price in-store at the time the items are being picked-up. Please bring your receipt and original method of payment to be reimbursed. If the original method of payment is not received, a store credit will be applied. Further details are available at the Canadian Tire Customer Service desk at your local Canadian Tire store.
Is there a limit to the number of items I can purchase online?
No there isn’t, however there is a maximum of 8 items per product.
Does Canadian Tire automatically send weekly flyers/newsletters?
No, customers are asked to opt in to receive weekly communication from Canadian Tire. If you are interested in receiving a weekly flyer, please sign up for our eFlyer.
Can I pay with my debit card?
No, online purchases can only be made with Visa, MasterCard or American Express.
Is my online confirmation page considered an official receipt?
No, your Official Sales Receipt will be provided to you when you complete your transaction at the store where you pick up your items. You will however, need to bring the online confirmation page with you as proof of purchase upon pick-up. Your confirmation e-mail contains a copy of your Consumer Agreement and should be retained for your records.
When is the full amount of my online purchase charged to my credit card?
Your credit card will be charged immediately after placing the order. A confirmation e-mail will be sent to the e-mail address you provide when the payment is successful.
Will my credit card company charge me any additional fees for an online purchase?
No, you will not be charged additional fees for purchasing online.
What is an Environmental Fee?
An environmental fee is a fee that is collected to help fund the disposal and recycling of household products. This fee helps ensure that these products are collected, recycled, reused or, when that is not possible, disposed of in the most environmentally-friendly way. In Quebec, Bill 60 legislation requires that advertised product prices include environmental fees and core charges. On canadiantire.ca/tires, Quebec customers will see their store's environmental fees and core charges clearly displayed in the Total Price.
Does Canadian Tire keep records of my credit card information?

Can I pay for my order when I pick it up in store instead of online?
In order for Canadian Tire to secure your order, we ask customers to pay online to avoid confusion or loss of inventory.

Can I finance my online tire purchase using an Equal Payments Plan?
Unfortunately at this time online purchases do not qualify for the Equal Payments Plan. However, if you visit your local Canadian Tire store, they would be happy to assist you in getting an Equal Payments Plan for your tire purchases at the store.
